Joel's Baptism
This week I had the privilege to be able to baptize Joel. He is such a miracle and was so excited to get baptized. It was very spiritual and uplifting. He said he couldn't describe the way that he felt after he got baptized. It was so cool!
This week was great. We've been seeing a lot of cool things happening. We started off the week eating at Rockin' Crab, the best restaurant of all time, ever. It serves the best king crab, snow crab shrimp, and crawfish. It was sooo good.

Also this week we were able to go to the temple. It was a very cool experience because it was my first time to do endowments since I received my own endowments. We got to go with all of the ZL's and STL's, and it was a very sacred and powerful experience. After we did a session, we all went downstairs and had a council with everyone. It was super awesome! For those of you who haven't gone to the temple in a while, I invite you to go. It is the best place in the world! The temple is the house of God and it is a special place where we go to feel his love.
This week we have been able to help the people that are progressing. The Alvarez family and the Cruz family are doing great. We have been able to read four chapters in the Book of Mormon with a 13-year-old kid named Abel. He told us that he wanted to get baptized this Saturday, but we told him that he needed to learn more. haha Then he said, "Okay, so next Saturday." haha It was super cute. He is awesome!
The Christmas season is the best. (Everyone is putting up lights and reindeer all over their yards.) The Christmas spirit is real. It is so cool how people open their hearts and their minds during this time of year. I am so very thankful to be able to be a missionary in his work and the opportunity that I have every day to go and serve.
