Rebuilding Minden

This week was super good. It was crazy. We did a lot of driving because we had to go to Dallas twice, which is a four hour drive one way, so the days were long with a lot of studies. ha ha!

When we were finally able to start working in our area we had only found a couple of people so Elder Coca and I worked our butts off to find some people. We knocked and talked with everybody for hours until we hit the last section of this apartment complex that we were knocking. We were not having any success, and when we knocked the last door, no one answered so we walked away and down the stairs. But then a lady called out "Hey!!" We stopped and turned around and someone from the door we had just knocked had opened the door. She was super nice when we talked about the Book of Mormon and she was very interested! She wants us to come back to teach her and her three children so that was soooo cool.

Then, as we were walking back, we saw a kid and talked with him and asked him to get his parents, so he did and his mom came out with her 8 year old daughter. We had a great lesson with her and she was interested as well, which was so cool! By this time the night is almost over, and it is Sunday night. We are still trying to find some people when we knock into a guy named Cory who asked us where we were from. When we told him we were from Utah, he said, "No way! Me too!" then he asked us if we happened to know a city called Provo? We were like "YES!! We live right next to it!" So we asked him if he has ever read the Book of Mormon, and he said, "Yes, my mom used to read it to me everyday and I would get the warm fuzzies in my chest!!" We were freaking out and shared a powerful message with him.

Super cool miracles. The Lord really prepared some people for us to teach for next week.

Love,

Elder Wyatt Frampton
