The difference between ordinary and extraordinary

Wow what a crazy week! Omg, this Light the World has started and wow, has it been a white Christmas so far. The week started off with interviews with President Dalton and it went really well. Later that night we got to play a little basketball with some non-members and it was super fun.

This week we had zone conference and a member of the Quorum of the Seventies came and he was soo cool. He straight up said something that really stood out to me. You get to choose to be happy and you get to choose your reaction to things that may be tough. He also said that the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the small and simple things. That hit me to do the little things every day and to be as obedient as I can all week.

I have been waiting for the baptism and the day finally came on Saturday. The family of five from Nigeria. They are so cool and they were really excited. I had the opportunity to baptize all the kids, who are 19, 16, and 10.  It was such an amazing experience. Afterwards a member took us out to this place called Cheddars. It was unreal! New favorite place.

At church they asked me and Elder Callister to bless the sacrament in Spanish and I was so nervous because you have to pronounce every word perfectly, but it went good. I also had to say the prayer in Sacrament meeting. haha It was cool.

I want to share something with you guys about the ability to choose to be happy every day and to do the little things to continue to be happy, like reading the scriptures and praying every morning and night and keeping yourself organized. Something that president Pearson said that was super cool is he said you can pray as much you want a day, it does not matter. That was really cool to me as well. Everyone do the little things to become extraordinary and not remain just ordinary. Put yourself out there. Go and serve and help others. Go light the world and serve as Christ served, with charity.

Love you all.
