Tomas and Bella
This week we were able to have the baptisms for Bella and Tomas. They are so cool. Tomas is the son of Sharon (who was just baptized) and Bella is the granddaughter. It was pretty crazy before the baptism though. Bella had a lot of opposition from her parents. She is so tough, especially for being only 8 years old, which is crazy! But she told us that when she prayed about getting baptized, she felt a strong connection to God, and he told her yes.
We met some really cool people this week that we are super excited to start teaching! Also this week we had a great lesson with a guy we met named Jonathan, who is so cool. He didn't believe in God at all until he had a bad accident while working and was electrocuted. We had a great lesson with him and asked him if he had been reading the Book of Mormon, and he said "it is really weird because this book has really caught my attention." He said that he turned off the tv and started reading it and he started explaining how he felt at peace and really liked it. It was so sweet. He is really cool.
Also this week we went over to the Perez family house! Before we went we said a prayer and had a feeling to ask a return missionary from the ward to come with us to the lesson. The whole family immediately connected with her and are buddies with her. They want to start coming to mutual and they have been reading the Book of Mormon.
It was such a great week! I want to invite ya'll to pray everyday to let your feelings out to God, the perfect listener. I know that as ya'll do that you'll see some cool miracles happen in your lives and you will also feel a stronger connection with God.
