Milagros in Oak Cliff

Hola! Como Esta!? Este semana fue muy bein. I am doing awesome and have a fire to learn Spanish and my ability to understand it is gettng better.

THIS WEEK WAS AWESOME!  Full of miracles.

Things are going really well here! We were able to have great success finding new investigators to teach. Actually we have found 17 new investigators. We biked a ton. We went to the very west side of our mission a few times, which is a 45 min bike ride one way, so it was tiring, but well worth it. We found an awesome family while we were sitting on the sidewalk typing up some information about one of the people we had just contacted. We saw some kids playing in the yard and so we went and started talking to this family. The kids kept coming out of the door. It was crazy. There are like 9 of them from ages 1 to 12. There is a grandma and she has 4 kids and her daughter has 5 kids. They were all so nice and wanted us to come back. They all wanted to come to church! It was really cool.

Then we talked to the Perez family that we met last week when they were outside playing soccer. They have been reading the Book of Mormon and they have been praying. We taught them the restoration and they loved it. They are thinking of being baptized in August. It was such a cool experience talking to them about it because they were getting so excited.

week we did some service with the baptist church and they were so nice and fun. We planted flowers. We met this lady named Alexzandra, who is so cool. She was really interested in what we believe in and wants to learn more so we taught her the restoration and gave her the Book of Mormon. I'm exicted to see how she is doing with her reading this week.

This week we had a lesson with Amalia and she is doing really good. She told us she wants to work really hard and wants to understand everything and so we have been assigning her more chapters to read. ha ha

Church was so awesome yesterday.  The family who had 9 kids came.  Five of them were able to make it and they loved church. They want to come back next week!

Then in the Spanish branch Amalia came with her grandchildren, the twins. She is so cute. This week she got up and bore her testimony. It was powerful. She held up the restoration pamphlet to the congregation. The twins came again too and we taught them about baptism and explained that is has to be done by the proper priesthood authority. Wow do they have short attention spans. ha ha They said that they wanted to be baptized with their grandma on the 5th of August, but they have to ask their mom. We will see what happens.

It was a great week,  full of miracles. I'm super excited to see what happens with the people we found and the families that we are teaching!

We are doing a super cool challenge as a mission. We are reading 10 pages every day in the Book of Mormon and I'm so excited about it.

I hope everyone had a great week. Love ya'll.
