Milagros!

THIS WEEK WAS FULL OF MIRACLES. It was such a crazy week that by Sunday me and my companion were super exhausted,

On Tuesday we had some really cool things happen. We got a Bible referral and as we were getting out of the car, this guy named Keyshod, who was riding his bike, stopped us and told us to meet with him after our lesson. He has been changing his life around and wants the best for his family. He is a 26 year old preacher and is interested in what we believe so we are excited to see where that goes. 

The Bible referral was a woman named Laverna who is super cool. She had her friend sit down with us as well during the lesson. It was sweet. She also has two boys who are 10 and 12. They are cool and wanted to come to church with us! When we walked out of the door we were so pumped, it was incredible. Then we headed to Keyshods after the lesson and he was so cool too. 

Later in the day we stopped by Angel's house. He is only 21 and is trying to grow closer to God. We had a really good lesson with him and he is so solid, but sadly he is leaving to Edmond Oklahoma for a little bit. We also had a great lesson with Keyeo and he really understood it. He wants to be baptized but he needs to come to church for that to happen so we will help him do that. Then we stopped by Amy. She has six kids and they are so cool!! We had a great lesson with them and they love us and are super solid. They have a ton of potential. We did some cool visual examples for repentance and taught them prayer. Then we met this girl named Danice, who is 17 who was sitting on her front porch. We pulled over and talked to her and she is super solid and is super interested.  

On Saturday we had interviews with President and received some great advice then we went on exchanges with the APS, which was awesome. We set a date for Ranida. She is so cool. She has so much faith and is super solid. We are trying to work with their kids towards a date as well! 

We fasted with Johnny on Saturday and had a deep discussion on the Word of Wisdom and why bad things happen to good people. Those were his two concerns. Then the next day at church these two random people came to the branch and were going to speak. The first speaker gets up and says, "I feel like I should speak on the Word of Wisdom." I looked at Johnny and started to smile. This man that was speaking was a convert to the church and his talk was so awesome. Then the second speaker gets up and says, "Today I'm going to talk about why bad things happen to good people!" I just looked at Johnny with a stunned expression. He said, "You set me up." ha ha Both things he needed they addressed and he received his answers. His fire is back he is excited to start reading the Book of Mormon with us. 

This week we found 17 new investigators! Sooo cool. A lot of them are super solid I truly do know the blessings of fasting. I think sometimes fasting can be underrated in the gospel, but it really does work. 

It has been such a great week! Funny stuff. We were eating dinner at Johnny's and I left my scriptures on the couch. After we got done eating I saw that the dog ate my scriptures. ha ha It was crazy. I'm going to have to get new scriptures!! other than that it was a great week!!!!
