More Milagros!

We have been having a blast up here in Idabel. A lot of good times and laughs with Elder Sutton.

I can't believe the transfer is almost over. This has been one of the fastest transfers on my mission. This week has been awesome. We started off this week by getting the zone amped up with a competition. If the other districts could get more people to church than us then we had to take them out to get ice cream. If we got more, they had to provide cake and ice cream for a party. We tied with one district and lost to the other so we will be buying them ice cream. It was so funny, and it was a good way to get the zone motivated.

On Tuesday the day started off rough. All of our lessons were falling through and no one was home. We were pretty bummed out until we got a text from the Barnes family--a family of 8. They said, "We will be at your church this Sunday. We talked as a family and prayed as a family and feel like we should visit and see if God is guiding our family to your family church!" We were freaking out and jumping up and down and celebrating and going nuts. ha ha It was so cool and it changed the whole day around. We were soooo pumped!

Later in the week we had a great lesson with Tad, who is only 18 and is looking to grow a connection with God. He is super cool. We also had a great lesson with Debra and Johnny with some of their fellow shippers. They are still the coolest people I have ever met.

On Thursday and went up and did exchanges. My comp went to Paris and I stayed here with Elder McMullen who is super awesome. He's a funny guy. We had such a great time and saw a lot of miracles. We went out with a recent convert and taught a great lesson, then we went out and were about to compass five, which means you knock on 5 houses around the house that you tried to contact. We were with a recent convert and I told him to pick all of the houses. He picked a house where a guy named Joe lives.  He is sooooooo cool. Such a miracle. He is looking for a church to join and he has a family of 7. He is super interested in the Book of Mormon and said that he is coming to church next Sunday and can't wait for us to come back and teach him!

We also found some Spanish people, which is crazy because there are no Hispanics here, but we found some ha ha They are awesome and the Lord definitely helped me out with my Spanish. That was sweet because I haven't been able to use it in about 6 months. ha ha

Saturday we did service for the Barnes family of 8 and I got to use a circle saw and cut wood and it was so fun. They cooked us food and showed us their guns and swords and it was really good to bond with them. They came to church and had a good experience! The kids enjoyed it and had a blast so this week has been sweet!

Here is a picture of our fridge. ha ha We are out of money and out of food. ha ha
