Animal Farm
This week has been another great week in Idabel, Oklahoma. It started off with some exchanges. We had a lot of fun and found four new investigators! We also spent a lot of time with animals. ha ha We had the opportunity to feed a calf and meet a wolf/coyote. It was crazy. People out here love buying and training wolves. It's crazy, but so awesome.
Later this week me and Elder fox were able to set a few baptismal dates for April 22nd, which was exciting. We will keep working with them.
This was our last week to be able to go to Dequeen, Arkansas because the president is putting some new Elders there, which is really cool, but also kinda sad because that means we won't get to see the investigators that we have been teaching unless they go to church. On the upside, we will have more time to work in other places in Idabel!
We had a happy St. Patrick's Day. The Moline's made us a huge decked-out meal. It was really awesome!
Johnny and Debra bought us t-shirts for saint Patrick's day. They have been progressing so much. They are so amazing!!!!
This week ended in such a cool miracle. We went to visit a new investigator, but she was not there so we compassed five (knock five houses around that house) and we were talking to this dude when this car pulls up and asked me to come over. I ran over and they said they needed help. There was a guy that got left behind and he lives four hours away. I started calling people and trying to figure out how to help. Then we started talking and somehow I brought the gospel into our conversation. They said that the missionaries had taught them three years earlier for a few months and so I brought up our beliefs and taught them the restoration. The spirit was strong and they really wanted a Book of Mormon. They took three and they have a family and want us to come back and teach them more about the church!!! It was a huge miracle. And Johnny and Debra helped the guy who got left behind. They are the most amazing people ever! Honestly, serving people brings so many blessings and miracles.
Go and serve someone this week! I promise you guys that it won't make you feel bad at all.
Love y'all!
