Investigator after investigator after investigator

This week was soo cool. We talked to Vicki this week and she is amazing. We met her daughter who is 17 and way cool as well. We taught them the restoration and they were super interested. We told them that we would continue to look for a place for them to move their huge trailer home because the city bought the land that all these trailer homes are on and are forcing them to leave soon. There were more blessings to be given and a really cool backstory to this that I will share later in this email.

But this week was the coolest. Me and Elder Fox are doing really well and have been finding new investigators left and right. We found 13 new investigators this week and some of them are really solid. One of them has a girlfriend and we taught them the plan of salvation. They were just eating it up. It was amazing. Charlie told us "thank you so much, you have answered questions that I have had for 41 years!" It was amazing. Super cool.

Later in the week I had a feeling to go visit this guy named Ray that I met probably a month ago that was really nice. He didn't have time to talk, so we gave him a picture of Christ and then left. So this week I was like, "Elder Fox, let's go visit this guy named Ray." We went and knocked on his door and he just opened the door and let us in without hesitation. I was looking around his house and saw the picture of Christ that we gave him. It was in front of another picture so I asked who it was and he said that it was his brother-in-law who just died in a car crash a month earlier when we came over! We get talking to him and he said that he has never prayed before and that he doesn't know who God is. It was the first time teaching who God is and why we pray, and how we pray. It was so cool. It was a really spiritual experience.

This is when it gets crazy. So the girl named Vicki who I mentioned earlier--well, me and Elder Fox have been praying for experiences and I had this feeling to go and visit a new investigator we just met. We went over and we started talking to her husband Jerry and I don't know what made him bring it up, but he started talking about how he has land that he leases to people with big trailer homes. I was freaking out. I was like, "wait what did you say?" We got his information and sent it to Vicki and another member that also lives in the trailer park. They were so happy and I can't wait to see what happens with that.

I just want to share one more experience before I close.  Me and Elder Salmon, my last companion gave this 8 month old baby a blessing when she had the flu and pneumonia.  A few days after we gave her the blessing she was released from the hospital and was totally okay. So Elder Fox and I got a call from a member and he said a 9 month old needed a blessing because she had a 104 degree fever. So we went over and it was the same little girl. Her mom was talking about how thankful she was for us because the last time we gave her a blessing she got better just like that. So I had the opportunity to give her the blessing and it was amazing. It was sooo cool and spiritual. Wow. This week has been so awesome.

Keep reading the Book of Mormon and asking for priesthood blessings and helping others.

Love, ya'll
