The Flu

This week was a good week. We have worked so hard to get in contact with people through every method possible, but everyone is sick. It is crazy! Everyone is going to the hospital and some are getting turned away because the hospitals are full.

Even though it was hard to find people to teach this week, it has been a week full of miracles. We talked to this guy and he has a really hard habit of smoking a ton, and drinking a lot of coffee. We got talking to him and he allowed us to share some scriptures with him and a video and challenged him to cut back. The spirit was super strong.

Also, we have been working with a guy and his two kids and he is one of the coolest guys I have ever met and really interested in our church. He is covered in tattoos and has the sweetest heart ever. We get along super well. He's amazing and both of his kids play basketball so all we do is talk about basketball.

A cool thing happened this week with a family that we have met with a few times. They have been kinda cold and closed off to us. The father does not believe in the book of Mormon, but his wife is more open to it, so we started talking and I opened up to them and shared a personal experience about a hard time in my life. The spirit was so strong and they really opened up and told us everything about their life and wouldn't stop talking. It was the coolest thing ever! Wow! And they really like us now and so that was such a miracle.

We had Zone Conference this week and it was far away so we woke up super early and drove up with a senior couple serving in our area. They are the best.  I learned a lot and it was a good refresher for me about the IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER and that GOD IS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND KNOWS AND LOVES US PERSONALLY.

Sunday was such a good day. A lot of people came to church and our only Spanish investigator came to church for the first time. I sat by him and during the talks I had to translate and summarize to him what they were saying in their talks. It was a super cool experience, and hard also, but it was awesome. He really liked church and got along with some of the other Hispanic members in our ward. It was super cool.

But this week has been a good one. It has been raining here a lot and we are building a lot of member trust.

I just want everyone reading this to know that Heavenly Father loves you and knows you and so that's why he gave us the opportunity to communicate with him through prayer and to talk to him like he is one of our buds that we haven't seen for a long time. He will help you and answer your prayers.

EVERYONE WASH YOUR HANDS AND USE GERM X! THE FLU IS GOING AROUND.

Love y'all. Have a good week.

Love,

Elder Frampton
