Another awesome week in Idabel, Oklahoma
This week was awesome! I can't believe how fast it went by. We went to Paris, which is a hour away from here, and I went on exchanges with Elder Powell. He is hilarious. He laughs at everything. We had a good time. We did some service and it was really fun and felt good because in Idabel there aren't a lot of service opportunities.
Also, I HAD GUATEMALAN FOOD FOR THE FIRST TIME. It was really good and we got to meet Fabio's wife Cindy. She is super cool and loved us. She was laughing the whole time and having fun. We shared a spiritual message with them and it went really well. She invited us back next Tuesday and wants to make us pupusas, which is a really good dish from El Salvador. I'm so pumped. They are amazing.
A member here who is a chiropractor fixed up my whole body. He told me my tail bone was messed up and he fixed it. haha It felt like he popped every single bone in my body and it felt amazing.
This week we had a lesson with the Marshallese family that is getting baptized on the 11th. We are so excited for them. They set a date to get married on the 4th of February. They are awesome.
We also had a lesson with the Wilson family and they are progressing a ton. They are so funny. They gave us food and the lesson went unreal. They never say prayers out loud, but he just went for it and said it out loud in front of us. We were in shock. It was the coolest thing ever.
Another cool thing is that we had the special opportunity to give a 10 month old baby a blessing in the hospital. She had pneumonia and tested positive for the flu. It was the coolest experience and we heard that she is now out of the hospital and doing well, which is such a miracle.
So Dalton and Bailey, the couple that dropped off the planet, were able to meet with us for a lesson. We taught them the plan of salvation and they LOVED IT! They were freaking out and couldn't believe it. They kept saying, "This makes so much sense!" They want to get baptized, but want to learn a little more. They are super cool.
This week I had the opportunity to give a talk in church. I was pumped. I thought it was going to be like any normal talk of about 5 minutes. Nope. Not in Idabel Oklahoma. They wanted me to speak for 20 minutes. haha But it was awesome! haha I was a little nervous at first, but I went up there and did the ALOHA and everyone said it back. It was awesome. Those 20 minutes flew by.

I hope you guys are doing well and are reading The Book of Mormon and taking that challenge. If any one you guys need a priesthood blessing, don't be afraid to ask for one. They work. It doesn't mean you are weak to ask for a blessing, it means you are strong. In Preach My Gospel it says, "Humility is willingness to submit to the will of the Lord and to give the Lord the honor for what is accomplished. It includes gratitude for His blessings and acknowledgment of your constant need for His divine help. Humility is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of spiritual strength."
I love you guys. Have a great week.
