Hola! Como Estan Amigos y Familia!

This week has been interesting, and a good one. It started off by going on splits. I went with my ward mission leader for the English ward and it went super good. We went out and visited some families. They were both old families. Old people are the best. They are so nice and humble, yet tough and have experienced so much. They always make you feel good. Shout out to my grandma's for being the best people and being such amazing examples for me! Happy Thanksgiving.

The next day we did service and helped this family out by painting their house and doing installation. It was cool. We got to know the family really well and got close to them. I showed them my mind reading trick and it was a hit. I show it to everyone. ha ha They love it. We helped them for 6 hours and their house is looking really good and coming together. Service is the best. It just makes you feel good. The next day we did another 6 hours of service for them and it was awesome. The little kids were so happy to see us.

We always have opportunities to serve others no matter what it is. It can be a smile or sending a text or praying for them or bringing them cookies.

This week we had a lesson with the family from Nigeria and they are sooooo cool. They have 6 people in their family and 5 of them are getting baptized. We are so excited. After the lesson I did the same mind reading trick and they were in awe.  haha They loved it. I'm gonna start using that more. ha ha They are such a prepared family. They have nothing and they always offer us drinks and they bought us soda. They are super receptive to the gospel and their baptismal date is coming up on the 2nd. I'm so excited.

This week we have been talking about how everyone is a missionary and how it doesn't matter if you have a missionary tag on or not. Acts of service and the little things and being an example can lead people to the gospel and Jesus Christ or make them want to learn more about the gospel. That is so true. That is something I am trying to do--the little things and to be an example at all times. It's crazy. There are a lot of people who just need something special and need that light and it all starts with BEING A FRIEND!

My Spanish is coming along. In church I understood a lot more and it felt really good. Speaking it is the tough part, but I will get there.

Look for someone to serve this week and pray for opportunities and they will come.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Love y'all
