Good week, weird week

This week has been good. We started off the week with a few Elders coming to our area, Elder Morgan and Elder Celuya. They are super cool and they gave me a lot of confidence with my Spanish. I went with Elder Morgan to a lesson with an investigator. His name is Pete and he has a baptismal date for the 2nd. We taught him the plan of salvation and the lesson went soo good. We flowed with each other and he totally understood and the spirit was strong.

After we were walking and we saw these two guys on the street. They didn't speak English so elder Morgan started talking to him and I actually understood a lot of what they were saying. Then he said he had to go and while he was walking away I felt really strongly to bear my testimony to him and so I did. It was a super cool experience. As we were walking away, Elder Morgan said "I had the same prompting. Way to listen to yours." It made me feel super good.

The next day we had zone conference. We had to fill up for gas and there was a Mexican guy right so me and Elder Morgan went up to him and Eder Morgan asked me to share what the Book of Mormon is with him and he didn't help me. I did it and it was super cool and he gave me the opportunity to talk. I loved it. Then we went to zone conference and it went super good and it pumped me up to be the best missionary I can be. I got some good things out of it. That was on Halloween. It just felt like a normal day, but while we were driving back the traffic was so bad so we did a skype lesson in the car  because now we have smart phones. We are 1 of 12 missions with smart phones. We had the lesson and it was my turn to speak about the restoration and I shared the experience about what Joseph Smith went through in the sacred Grove. The spirit was soo strong and afterwards the lady personally thanked me over the phone for that, and all the missionaries were like, "Wow Elder Frampton, that was super good. It made me feel super good.

I have been reading the Doctrine and Covenants and the New Testament and the Book of Mormon and it's super cool. It's crazy. I love reading. haha

But the craziest thing happened. So we went on a blitz in the Hermanas area and I got put in a trio with these to random kids who want to serve missions. We went out and they were looking up to me, which was crazy, but we get to our destination and this guy gets super mad and starts saying "Bro, you don't even want to get in a Bash with me Bro." And then hetook his huge dog out and started staring at us for like 30 minutes while we were doing our thing. It was funny.

Then later in the week this kid wanted us to come over so we went over and he wasn't home yet, but his mom let us in and was really interested in the gospel. It was awesome, but then her son walked in and there was this old guy with him. He was a preacher from another church and he started saying how our church is false and he is part of the true church. The kid had set us up so this guy could come over and bash us. So he and my companion got into it. It was insane. Luckily we had to go to dinner. It was crazy haha

But this week has been good. A lot of our appointments got cancelled this week or they weren't home so that was frustrating. But keep reading the Book of Mormon every day and praying every day. It will change your life slowly and surely. Open your heart and things will come into your heart. I promise you if you read with a true desire to know and real intent and pray every day you will find your answer and will feel a difference.

Love ya'll. Keep being yourself and serving others.

Love,

Elder Frampton
