Grand Prairie Week Two--so fun and tiring being a missionary

Wow, this week was super fast. It's crazy how fast this week went compared to last week. I feel like I wrote my last letter yesterday.

It was a really good week. Me and my comp are getting along and having a good time. We have a lot of fun together, but are being obedient. I have met some funny people this week and I've met some of the most humble people. They are so loving and caring and have so much FAITH. It's crazy. People show up to church in straight campo. It is the coolest thing ever. There is a a family--the grandmother and her daughter are getting baptized on Saturday I'm so pumped. They are the most humble family ever. They are from Africa. We have gotten really close with them and they have a little girl. She is so funny. Then we have some investigators that are so ready to receive the Holy Ghost so we are getting there.  I felt the spirit so strong this week during lessons. It is awesome to be a missionary. Soooo fun and tiring, it's crazy.

On Wednesday we went on exchanges with some zone leaders. We went on a blitz to another area and it was crazy. People were closing doors in our faces. We were in a nice area and people would give us the worst looks. They are scared when they open the door. ha ha It was funny, but it sucked at the same time. People act like we're gonna rob them, but all we are doing is trying to share a message that will change their lives. ha ha It was way fun though. The zone leaders had to stay with us that night and one of them is 6'6" 330 lbs.  A big Tongan guy. We got along really well. We put all the grossest things in cups and each took a shot and we all threw up. It sounds stupid, and kinda was, but it was good memories. We also did service which was fun.

My Spanish is coming better, at least the understanding part. I'm getting used to their speed and they are the nicest people ever.  They are so supportive. We had good lessons and all of our investigators came to church. It was soo cool. I was sooo excited. On Sunday we had a cool experience. We got a new investigator. He thought that we worshipped Joseph Smith because his preacher told him that and so we explained to him that's not true and we wants to learn more, which is cool. Texas is awesome. A lot of the houses are as big as my room back home. Honestly, it's crazy. I have never met nicer people once they open up. They are soo loving. It's awesome.

It is crazy that my sister Tatum got married this week and that she and my family are in Hawaii living it up.  Everything is changing back home for the better, which is awesome.

Anyways, love you all. Read the scriptures and pray every day. It will change the way you react to situations.

Love you guys.
